Privacy Policy

The short version

Dayden is private by design. We collect the minimum needed to run your account, we show no ads, we use no third-party trackers or analytics, and we never sell or share your data.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email). Used only to sign you in and, rarely, to contact you about your account.
• Your app data: the priorities, habits, lists, meals, spending entries, goals and reviews you create. This lives on your device and is backed up to your private account space so it can sync between your devices. It is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Firebase infrastructure.
• Licence record: which licence code your account redeemed, so your purchase unlocks the app on all your devices.

What we do NOT do

• No advertising, no ad identifiers.
• No analytics or behavioural tracking.
• No selling, renting or sharing of personal data with third parties.
• No health or medical data — Dayden is a life organiser, not a health app.

Where data is processed

Authentication and backup storage are provided by Google Firebase (Google LLC). Google acts as our data processor; your data is protected by encryption in transit and at rest. See Firebase's privacy documentation.

Your rights

You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Data → Export. You can request deletion of your account and backup by emailing us; deletion removes your data from our systems. If you are in the UK/EU, you have the rights set out in UK GDPR/GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure and portability.

Data retention

Your data is kept while your account exists. Delete your account and it is removed. Local data on your own devices is under your control.

Children

Dayden is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
